Morena Kalziqi began her studies at the age of six in Albania. Upon completing her Bachelors in Music Performance at the University of Arts in Albania, she also received the highest GPA Award. From 2009-2013, she was a member of the Sarajevo Philharmonic, exposing her to the versatility of performing symphonic, opera and ballet genres. Morena continued her studies at Boston Conservatory and received her Graduate Performance Diploma.
In addition, Ms. Kalziqi was a member of The Boston Conservatory Honors Piano Trio and served as concertmaster for the Boston Conservatory Opera Department under the direction of Maestro Andrew Altenbach. Shortly after, Morena graduated with her MM at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami.
Currently, Ms. Kalziqi is completing the first year of her DMA at the Frost School of Music and was selected as a TA to Professor Scott Flavin.
Additionally, Morena is a member of the Henry Mancini Institute orchestra and String Quartet. Morena is also fond of opera, especially Giuseppe Verdi, and her favorite opera is ‘La Traviata.’
Ms. Kalziqi is also multilingual, speaking Albanian, Italian, English, Spanish and Serbo-Croatian fluently.
